What are key things a person can do to bring about positive change in the life?Stress & Wellness Coaching helps a person realize that they are the creators of their lives. That is, that they can and are ready to take responsibility for consciously creating what they want. Compared to a person who perceives they are a victim of upbringing, circumstances, gender, age, etc. In Coaching, the client is the one responsible for crafting the results they want. Unlike therapy where past experiences are examined and held as the cause for current behaviors, in coaching the client is held responsible to consciously make a new choice in the present moment to create their current behavior thereby creating the results they want. As well, a Coach supports the client to take action. Basically, coaching is about asking the client to take the action that their higher level of awareness and responsibility has brought them to choose for themselves. If we want to improve ourselves, want to be more effective, want better relationships, more satisfying work, if we want a different life, we need to think, feel and act in ways that produce different results. There are no problems, only opportunities. It is possible to use everything that happens to you as an opportunity to live better. The key is to stay open long enough. Perhaps it is really an opportunity to communicate better, ask for help or try something new. Maybe it is an opportunity to be honest, authentic, or more open. Or, maybe it is an opportunity for surrender, prayer, healing, miracles or genuine soul guidance. What are some of the tools or processes utilized in Stress & Wellness Coaching?One of the tools utilized in coaching is working with powerful affirmations, your thinking activates Law of Attraction. Individuals have to learn to harness their minds to think correctly to manifest the things they want to attract to their lives. You need to put your attention on what you find acceptable, and good, like money, success, relationships and anything you would like in your life. Another process that we get in touch with is our internal guidance system, which feels like a gut impulse. It's actually our intuition trying to get our attention. If you tap into this feeling, your ability to move past life's obstacles will be much easier. This is really a powerful tool! We utilize mediation and guided visualizations to calm the mind and increase clarity. We recommend regular exercise and healty diet. What type of personality do you work best with?I work best with people who acknowledge past hurts and most importantly be willing to move past them. Self discovery starts from the premise that we are now, and always have been absolutely perfect, whole and complete. There is nothing to fix, to become or to grow into. We are already it! In other words, life is about the journey and who we are throughout that journey will determine our level of fulfillment. What kind of results can I expect?Results are based on how willing you are to accept change in your life. My clients tell me that stress and wellness coaching brings them more clarity, a calmer demeanor, deeper more peaceful sleep, less stress and anxiety and a new confidence in their life. You can sit in the comfort of your own home and learn about how to reduce stress and increase your happiness and well-being. Normally we work once a week, 3 times a month on the phone. Appointments are typically for approximately 40 minutes. I welcome emails during the week. I invite you for one complimentary session, so that you can determine if Stress & Wellness Coaching is right for you.
